SEVENTH SEAL

Gauntface or madshadow tell
me what the world is? I know
years at the Sat. Mat.
Injuns come
                       triggerspring
lovespurned.
                       The tears of Kings
are glycerine. With salt I
salute them.
                       The curly shirlies
taught us the innocent bit
Stars in the screenlit
eyes flickered, wanderers
rode westering, broad as a
barndoor and dumb
with virtue;
                       oh, how we watched
horsekiss the cassidy come
to THE (sunset) END till they
forced us unhatched
pupas into the white
bitter late Saturday light.
